Scholarships

Merit Scholarship: The merit scholarship is initiated for meritorious students based on their performance at the pre-entry level and subsequent performance in various tests and examinations.

The student will be awarded a merit scholarship in September each year. In the first year, the scholarship will be decided on the merit of the pre-entry marks, mid-semester test and attendance in regular classes. Merit scholarships for the consecutive years will be decided based on his/her performance in one end-semester and two mid-semester examinations of each year.

The scholarship will consist of a percentage refund of fees. Each combination will be considered for two merit scholarships. Combinations with more than one section will be considered proportionately.
The fee refund / reduction will be considered as follows.

Scholarship for Financial Assistance: Students choosing to avail of this scholarship must apply to the Office of Awards and Scholarships with supporting documents. A student who enrols in the first year degree or P.G. course who is economically weak but diligent, especially from rural areas is eligible to apply. He/she should furnish enough evidence of his/her eligibility enclosing community/ income certificate from an official not below the ranks of a revenue inspector. Applications will be scrutinised, and a final interview with or without a parent/guardian by the scholarship committee will decide his/her eligibility.

About COMEDK?

This is a state level exam conducted by the Consortium of Engineering, medical and the dental college of Karnataka; earlier in 2015 this entrance exam was held only in Karnataka. But now this exam is conducted in various other cities like Ambala, New Delhi, Faridabad, Meerut, Rajkot, Hisar Karnal and many more. This entrance exam is conducted for the admission to undergraduate engineering courses at almost 190 colleges in Karnataka state. As per the COMEDK exam pattern issued there will be 1 mark given for each correct answer with no negative marking. This exam is conducted once a year. This exam is held for both the candidate’s seeking admission in B. Tech course and B. Arch course.

COMEDK has been assigned the task of organizing a common entrance test for the academic year 2023. COMEDK entrance test & publication of test score and rank list will be followed by centralized counselling.

General Instructions for Registration- COMEDK:

  • All the details asked for in Registration /Application form are Mandatory.
  • E-mail ID and mobile number should remain the same till the Admission process is completed
  • An Email ID once used for Registration online cannot be used again.
  • Details given at the time of registration cannot be edited later on in the application form. Please review all details entered at time of registration before CLICKING ON SUBMIT BUTTON and proceeding to application form.
  • After successful registration, you will receive the User id and Password on your Mobile Number and Email Id which is unique

  • COMEDK is a tough entrance exam with a lot of competition. Every year, lakhs of aspirants appear for the state level entrance exam in a hope to qualify for admission.
