B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) was Founded in the year 1946 by Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah a great visionary and philanthropist and nurtured by his illustrious son Late Sri. B. S. Narayan.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have cleared their Class 12 examination or an equivalent exam with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects. Candidates must have studied English as one of the languages. And should have a score of at least 45 percent marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates who belong to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe or Schedule Caste category Category-I and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) category have to secure at least 40 percent marks to be eligible to take up KCET.
BMS College of Engineering Bangalore has 20% of seats reserved in total for Management Quota Admission in all branches like CSE, ise, ece, civil, mechanical, civil, biotechnology for direct admissions in Engineering Courses.

Admission
BMS Engineering management quota fees are paid only one time “ At the Starting of Admission procedure” Later you need to pay only per annum fees and hostel fees to BMS College.
Choose any branch of Engineering and any campus of BMS college you want to join in depending on your budget and interest.
Direct Admission in BMS College of Engineering through management quota is the only option left for you if you scoreless in entrance exams held every year.
Karnataka Cet or K-CET Entrance Exams
50% of the total seats in all branches throughout BMS College are fixed for the Karnataka state domicile students. KEA or Karnataka Examinations Authority conducts this entrance exam every year generally in the month of April/May for students who wish to join BMSCE and other prestigious colleges of Karnataka
If you are appearing for K-CET then you should ensure that you score a rank of less than five thousand to get admission in a decent branch in BMS College of Engineering based on merit and counselling of CET. The top branches which are high in demand get filled in under 1000-1500 rank.
Through Lateral Entry Scheme 2023
Three Years Bachelor of Engineering (B.E. – Lateral Entry Scheme) Programs:
A candidate who has passed the Qualifying Examination i.e. any diploma examination or equivalent examination and obtained an aggregate minimum of 45 % ( for General Merit Candidates) of marks taken together in all the subjects of the final year (i.e., fifth and six semesters) diploma examination (Q E) is eligible for admission to B E-Courses and 40% of marks in Q. E. in case of SC, ST and Backward Classes of Karnataka Candidates.
NOTE: The aggregate percentage of marks of the course of the qualifying examination shall be calculated as follows:
