Ramaiah Management Quota B.Tech Admission Eligibility
A candidate who has passed the 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in the case of the General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in the case of SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry are less for the required aggregate percentage for determination of eligibility (and not for the determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).
Entrance Exam: KEA / COMEDK
MSRIT B Tech Selection Criteria
The admission to the B.E. courses at MS Ramaiah Institute is entrance exam-based. Candidates seeking admission must appear in the state-level entrance exam KCET. Non-Karnataka students can appear in the national-level entrance exam COMEDK.
MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology also offers admission under management and NRI quota.
For admission under the management, quota candidates have to connect with the college administration. Candidates can call the administration section or visit the college campus to contact them in person.
To apply for the B.E. courses at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology candidates have to visit the official website of the institute. After downloading the application form, candidates should fill and attach copies required documents. The form must be submitted at college by post or manually.
Candidates can also visit the institute campus and collect the application form. After filling up the form they are required to submit it.
