Eligibility (B.E.) MSRIT Bengaluru
A candidate who has passed 10 + 2 pattern of examination (equivalent to the two year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination is eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.
The eligibility for admission is 45% in case of General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in case of SC/ST, Category-1 and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry is less for the required aggregate percentage for the purpose of determination of eligibility (and not for the purpose of determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).
Entrance Exam: KEA / COMEDK
Eligibility (B.Arch.)
Admission to the Ramaiah College B Tech Courses is based on an entrance test. Candidates seeking admission must appear in the state-level entrance exam KCET. Non-Karnataka students can appear in the national level entrance exam COMEDK.
There is also provision for Ramaiah Institute of Technology management quota admission. In addition, admission under the NRI Quota exists.
Students willing to apply for direct admission in Ramaiah Institute must contact the college administration. Candidates can call the administration section or visit the college campus to contact in person.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology Bangalore. 30% of seats are reserved for students under Comedk exam from all parts of India. 50% of seats are reserved for students from Karnataka to join B.E. Based on the score of 12th exam and score card of the entrance exam, students are allotted seats through counselling. Rank must be below five thousand to join MSRIT and below ten thousand to join MSRUAS.
