Ramaiah Management Quota B.Tech Admission Eligibility

A candidate who has passed the 10 + 2 patterns of examination (equivalent to the two-year Pre University in Karnataka) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination are eligible to pursue an undergraduate degree in engineering at MSRIT.

The eligibility for admission is 45% in the case of the General Category and 40% marks in the qualifying examination in the case of SC/ST, Category-1, and OBC Category candidates. The marks obtained by the candidate in Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics in the qualifying examination will be considered in the place of Chemistry in case the marks obtained in Chemistry are less for the required aggregate percentage for determination of eligibility (and not for the determination of rank, in respect of engineering/technology courses).

Eligibility Criteria

MIT-WPU Cut-off 2023

MIT World Peace University follows an entrance-test-based admission policy for its UG and PG courses. It accepts a number of national or state-level entrance exam scores for admissions. It also conducts institute-level entrance tests like MIT-WPU MEET, UGPET, PGPET, MIT-WPU DAT, etc. As a result, the university prepares and publishes the course and entrance-test-specific MIT Pune cut-off lists after the completion of the entire admission process. M.Tech admissions are based on GATE / Karnataka. Admissions to MCA and MCA programs are based on KMAT / CMAT / MAT/Karnataka PGCET scores. Candidates will have to appear for VTU Eligibility Test to be admitted to the Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT) Ph.D. program. Applicants will have to undergo college-level counselling for Admission to BIT Bangalore courses.

Eligibility:

Candidates seeking admittance to the first year of the four years B.E. degree course should have passed two years of P.U.C. Examinations conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any other Examination recognized as equivalent by the Visvesvaraya Technology University and should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate of optional subjects.

Candidate should have passed in 12th STD with an aggregate of minimum 45% in Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science/Electronics as optional subjects in the qualifying examination.

BIT Bangalore Engineering Entrance Exams

Comed-K: 30% of total seats are reserved in BIT for Comed-k counselling for students from all parts of India.

K-CET: 50% of the total seats in BIT are allocated through K-CET Counselling conducted by KEA only for Karnataka state students.

Comed-k, K-CET exams are held yearly for B.E engineering degree courses admission in private, government, and deemed engineering colleges in Karnataka.

Through Entrance Exams:
Apply for K-CET entrance exams for Karnataka students who have completed their 1oth and 12th from state boards.

Minimum Cut-off
BIT, Bangalore >> Rank must be below 5 thousand

Apply for Comedk entrance exams for students outside Karnataka looking for admission in BIT who must score a good rank to secure a seat.

Minimum Cut-off
BIT, Bangalore >> Rank must be below 8 thousand.

Through Management Quota:
25% of seats in Bangalore Institute of Technology are reserved for B.E. direct admission for students from all parts of India looking to join bit on class 12th marks.

Donations for Direct admission in BIT for all branches of engineering may differ but the per-year tuition fees are the same for all B.E Courses.
