Nationality	· The applicant should be a Resident / Non Resident Indian National / PIO. · Foreign Candidates studied/studying abroad can apply directly through foreign category.
Age Limit	Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2001 are eligible to apply for UG Engineering admission (UGEA) 2023. The date of birth as recorded in the High School / SSC / X Certificate will be considered authentic.
Qualifying Examination	Candidates applying for UG Engineering admission should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2023, in any one of the following qualifying examinations: · The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), New Delhi. · Intermediate or Two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognized Board/ University. · High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma of the International Baccalaureate Office, Geneva. · General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/Cambridge/Srilanka) at the Advanced (A) level. · As per VIT Norms, Regular ‘NIOS’ board candidates are also eligible for Undergraduate Engineering programmes. Applicants should produce the Migration Cum Transfer Certificate at the time of joining. · They should also provide the marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Total (including all subjects) and upload the scanned copy of the mark list and other relevant documents whenever available on the application form. · For Indian nationals/ NRI/ PIO card holder, appearance in VITEEE-23 is mandatory to be eligible for B. Tech. admission under regular mode (Applicants under International/NRI quota exempted) . In case VITEEE gets cancelled due to natural calamities, qualifying criteria may be substituted with higher secondary marks or JEE-22 or a valid SAT. In order to get Admission into VIT Vellore, first of all, you should have at least 60% marks in PCM in your Class 12th Standard or equivalent exam, if you’re in your final year and appearing in Class 12^th Exams or 10+2 Exam, then also you will get admission to VIT Vellore after passing but the condition remains same.

And you must appear in the VITEEE conducted to VIT University itself, which is compulsory without appearing for VITEEE you can’t get admission to any campus of VIT University, no matter how good your marks in 10+2 or Class 12^th.

Admit Card@ VIT

VIT Vellore will release the VITEEE admit card online immediately after the completion of VITEEE exam 2023 slot booking process. The admit card will include many important details such as the VITEEE exam date and time, time of reporting, venue, candidate’s roll number, etc.

Candidates will be required to produce the admit card of VITEEE 2023 along with a photo identity proof. Students should contact the VIT entrance exam authorities immediately in case of any mistake or errors in the admit card.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

VIT will conduct the VITEEE counselling in online mode. Candidates will be required fill their choices as per their preference during the counselling of VITEEE 2023.

All candidates having their names in the VITEEE 2023 rank list will have to log in and fill choices of course and college during registration. The allotment of seats will be on the basis of the rank list and the choices made by candidates during registration. It may be noted that to confirm the seat allotted, candidates will also be required to submit 50% amount of the admission fee during VITEEE 2023 counselling.
