Eligibility Criteria

Clearing Class 12 examination/equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. English subject should be one of the main languages in the course. A minimum score of least 45 per cent marks in the qualifying examination is necessary. Candidates belonging to Schedule Tribe, Schedule Caste or Schedule Caste category Category-I and OBC category have to secure at least 40 per cent marks to be eligible.

Should have passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects.

Candidates have to fill Personal Details first and then Application ID and Password will be generated for further Counselling Process. RIT was founded, in 1962, by the late M. S. Ramaiah, who was an educationist, philanthropist, and infrastructure visionary. RIT is a part of Gokula Education Foundation (GEF) which owns and manages several educational institutions across various streams. The foundation also runs a Multi Specialty Hospital.   1. R. Seetharam, a son of M. S. Ramaiah, currently heads the college management as a director. The autonomy given to the institute by the government is only for academic matters. Department of Information Technology (IT) was established in the year 1999. The department offers an undergraduate program of B.Tech (Information Technology). The Department is headed by Dr. Ravindra S Kulkarni who is an alumnus of Aerospace Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The Aerospace programme offers a strong basic UG programme comprising of 8 semesters inclusive of one minor and one full semester major project. It also offers internships in industry / institute to the students. The curriculum consists of four core subjects viz. Aerodynamics, Propulsion, Structures & Control systems.
