PES University offers a four-year BTech programme at the UG level. Admission to the BTech programme is based on KCET score, followed by KCET Counselling, which is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The institute-specific qualifying cutoff is announced after the declaration of the KCET 2021 result to manage the seat allotment process. The seat allotment process is based on the college cutoff and the candidate’s preference for courses and colleges.

The cutoffs are generally declared in two rounds of KCET Counselling based on closing ranks for each of the BTech specializations. The cutoffs are released for home state and other state candidates, which are further divided into GM GMK, SCG, STG, etc., categories. Admission Criteria

PESU admits 40% of its students to undergraduate courses based on their Karnataka CET ranks and 60% of its students based on PESSAT (the university’s own entrance test) ranks. PESU also admits students under a Management quota, which may not place any merit requirements.
