Electrical & Electronics Engineering: The branch of Electrical & Electronics Engineering was first set up in the year 1962 along with the opening of the college. It started with offering a bachelor’s program in this department with a duration of four years. The department also gained the status of a Research Centre in 2003 and has come out with 6 doctorates in the past 10 years of its background. The admission to the B.E. courses at MS Ramaiah Institute is entrance exam-based. Candidates seeking admission must appear in the state-level entrance exam KCET. Non-Karnataka students can appear in the national-level entrance exam COMEDK.
