B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) is a private engineering college in Basavanagudi, Bangalore, India. It was started in 1946 by Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah and is run by the B.M.S. Educational Trust. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and became autonomous in 2008. BMS College UG Admission 2022
BMSCE offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degrees at undergraduate level. The basic eligibility to these courses is having passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. B.Arch. is a 5 year course and B.Tech./B.E. degrees have a 4 year duration. Candidates can get the application form from the college’s official website. The admissions to B.Tech and B.E. courses are granted on the basis of candidate’s merit in Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Undergraduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET). The entrance test will have 180 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. The exam will have three sections: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 60 questions each. The candidates will get 3 hours to complete the exam. There will be no negative marking.
However, in the event of a tie in the test score the principle of least negative responses (Number of wrong answers) will be adopted. In addition, if required, other methods may be adopted to break ties. The entrance test is based on the existing syllabus of 10 + 2 / 12th STD / 2nd PUC. There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B.Arch Course. Candidates seeking admission to B. Arch course shall submit separate application form for counseling as per the notification on COMEDK website (will be made available before counseling).
