BITSAT 2024 application form is now available online at bitsadmission.com. Candidates will have to fill out and submit the application form of BITSAT 2024 before the final date i.e., April 11, 2024. The details on how to fill out and submit the BITSAT application form 2024 are given below.

Registration: In the first step, the candidates will have to visit the official website i.e., bitsadmission.com and click on the registration link. The registration has to be done by providing a valid email ID and mobile number.

Filling out the form: After the successful registration, the candidates will have to fill out their personal, communication and academic details in the BITSAT 2024 application form. All of the details have to be valid. The candidates will also be required to select three exam centres, in the order of their preference.

Uploading of documents: In the next step, the candidates will have to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures in the prescribed format. If the uploaded documents are not as per the official specifications, then they will not be accepted.

Age Limit

Applicants whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 2002 are eligible to apply for Engineering admission 2024.

Qualifying Examination

Applicants applying for UG Engineering admission should have either completed or shall be appearing in 2024, in any one of the following qualifying examinations for VIT Bhopal Direct Btech Admission

The final examination of the 10+2 system of Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the State Board; Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE),New Delhi.

Selection Creteria for BTech admission in VIT Vellore

Selection is based on the rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test) VITEEE 2024

Selected candidates can participate in online counselling based on their ranking. They can give options for specific campus, programme and category of fees. Allotment will be based on the rank obtained, preference given and availability during online counseling

Candidates with rank Upto 1 Lakh are eligible for counselling to all the four campuses, VIT – Vellore, VIT – Chennai, VIT – AP and VIT – Bhopal. Rank holders above 1 lakh are eligible for counselling to VIT – AP and VIT – Bhopal campuses only.

VIT will verify the eligibility of candidates after completing the tuition fee payment on or before the stipulated date. Candidates are required to produce documents on the day of reporting to the campus or as and when asked for, by the Office of Admissions. Provisional Admission offered during counselling will be valid ONLY if the eligibility is fulfilled

Online Counselling Process

The counselling process is common for VIT group of Institutions. The online counselling will be held in five phases. The rank, schedule, choice entry will be available in the counselling portal. A non-refundable counselling fee of Rs.5,900/- is required to participate in the counselling process.

The applicants who fail to appear in their phase of counselling are eligible to appear in next phase, but limited to available choices in that phase.

Applicants may select campus / programme / fee category. The allotment will be based on VITEEE Rank. Once the required fee is paid, provisional admission letter will be available in portal. Once allotted campus / programme / fee category cannot be changed

VITEEE Counselling Process

The counselling procedure for allocating different branches of engineering is based on the All India Rank in VITEEE. Eligible students must register for counselling on the website of VIT. Only the registered aspirants can attend the VITEEE Counselling round. You have to download your provisional letter for counselling form the official website.Direct Btech Admission in VIT Chennai

Candidates must follow the below steps to participate in VITEEE Counselling

Step 1: Registration

Candidates have to Register for VITEEE Counsellingand reach on time at your counselling centre.

Candidates will be informed through SMS or email about the schedule of VITEEE Counselling

Step 2: Document Verification

Visit the required VITEEE Counselling Centre will all the required documents.

Only after the successful verification of documents, you will be considered for further steps.

Step 3: Seat Allotment

Slot and day-wise vacant seats will be updated by VIT.

Candidates will be allotted seats as per their VITEEE rank, preference of course and college, and number of available seats. Allotment of branch and Campus is final and cannot be changed under any circumstances.

The candidate must decide for certain whether he wants to join the program based on the branch allotted to him before paying the fees.

Step 4: Fees Payment

After the confirmation of seat from the counselling authority, you have to confirm your seat by paying the course fees.

VITEEE 2024 Counseling fee

The candidates who will be called for counselling have to pay an amount of Rs 10,000/- as Counseling fee (non-refundable).

The same will be adjusted in the tuition fee when a candidate joins the University.

Once the candidate’s seat will be confirmed then they have to submit the Demand Draft for Rs. 50,000/- in favour of VIT University, payable at Vellore.

This will include the counselling fee of Rs. 12,000/-.
