Reva University is a deemed university located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The long-held desire of Smt. Rukmini Shyama Raju’s to educate the youth was fulfilled in October 2005 with the founding of the Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust (RECT). It was established in the year 2012 by the Government of Karnataka. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The NAAC has accredited Reva with an ‘A’ grade. The Reva University Bengaluru Karnataka is recognized in the top 50 private universities in India. Various rating agencies have ranked the university among Karnataka’s top 10 private universities. The founder of Reva University is P. P Raju, while the chancellor of Reva University is M. Dhanamjaya.

Eligibility
10+2 with mathematics as an obligatory subject with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
With mathematics students must have 45% marks in Chemistry/Biology/ Computer science/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Electronics.

REVA University Common Entrance Test
Appearing for REVA CET is the most crucial part of the admission process. The entrance exam application for the desired REVA University courses should be submitted with accurate information and supporting documents. With the issued hall tickets the students are expected to give in their best. The duration of the test is 120 minutes where the candidates are tested for their aptitude, language & reasoning skills in case of Law and Management and the fundamentals of higher Math and Science for Engineering. Below mentioned is a brief snapshot of the exam pattern.
Engineering: Subjects covered include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics along with Verbal & Logical reasoning. There are 120 questions in total with each section carrying 30 questions. One mark is awarded for every correct answer and no mark is deducted for wrong ones

Admission
The Reva University Bangalore admission process ensures that only academically qualified students with the potential to succeed in their studies are admitted into the university. Admission to Reva University is a two-step process. The first step is to appear for the entrance exam, and the second step is the interview.
The B.Tech Reva University is a four-year undergraduate program that provides students with a foundation in engineering. The program aims to provide engineering skills and knowledge to students who want to pursue an engineering career. Reva University Engineering Courses are available in various specializations.
The minimum eligibility criterion for admission into the B.Tech program is 45% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.
Admission depends on the marks scored in national entrance exams like JEE Mains, Karnataka CET, Comedk UG, and the university-level entrance exam REVA EET.
The selection process for the program includes a written test and an interview.
The Reva University engineering fees are INR 9 lakhs. Reva University B Tech fees can be paid in 4 instalments, 1st instalment at the time of admission, while the other instalments have to be paid at the start of every year.
Compared to the general fees, Reva University Management Quota fees for B Tech will be higher. Reva University KCET fees go up to INR 1 Lakhs.
Without an entrance test, direct admission to Reva University is not possible. Candidates must appear for REVA EET mandatory.

Candidates can apply to any of the courses via online and offline mode. Following are the steps to apply for admission:
Online Mode
Step 1: Visit the official website of the college and click on the ‘Apply now’ tab given on the right side of the website.
Step 2: Select your desired course and fill your contact details to download the application form.
Step 3: Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 (INR 2,000 for NRI applicants and the US $50 for foreign national applicants) via online mode (Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Transfer) or through Demand Draft in favour of “REVA University” payable at Bengaluru.
Step 4: After successful submission of the form, an application number will be generated. Note down the application number for future references.
Offline Mode: Candidates can fill the application form by visiting the university. Pay the application fee in cash or through DD which is to be sent to the Office of Admissions, REVA University.
Fees

REVA University Scholarship
The scholarships are awarded to students seeking admissions through merit, sports quota, defense quota, PH quota, or other applicable categories. These scholarships are awarded based on the eligibility criteria decided by the University. The following are the scholarships provided by the university.
- Student Scoring Rank in Karnataka Common Entrance Test(K-CET): Students who have qualified in K-CET are entitled to receive the scholarship based on their ranks. The percentage of scholarship amount varies from student to student as the scholarship is strictly awarded based on the rank secured in K-CET.

- Sports Scholarship: Candidates seeking admissions on sports quota are eligible for a scholarship based on their participation at State/National/International levels.
