Students trying for admission in PES Bangalore must have the desired educational requirements, and some may need to appear in different entrance examinations. The results, based on the entrance exams, and the score in PESSAT, would qualify for admission. Here are the desired educational qualifications required:
General category students must score 50% aggregate or equivalent grade in their previous qualifying examination. Applicable for both UG and PG students.

- 40% of the seats to PGCET (Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test)
