What is Comedk?

COMEDK UGET is the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka under Graduate Entrance Test for various engineering and architecture college admissions.

COMEDK, since its inception in 2004-05, has conducted the annual entrance exam for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the member institutions and has also organised single-window centralised counselling procedures over the past fifteen years.

This is a state level exam conducted by the Consortium of Engineering, medical and the dental college of Karnataka; earlier in 2015 this entrance exam was held only in Karnataka. But now this exam is conducted in various other cities like Ambala, New Delhi, Faridabad, Meerut, Rajkot, Hisar Karnal and many more. This entrance exam is conducted for the admission to undergraduate engineering courses at almost 190 colleges in Karnataka state. As per the COMEDK exam pattern issued there will be 1 mark given for each correct answer with no negative marking. This exam is conducted once a year.

Students must have passed their class 12th with at least 60% marks in their respective boards.

Inter-se Merit for COMEDK UGET 2023 cutoff

In case of a tie in COMEDK cutoff 2023, where two or more candidates obtain the same ranks, the process of Inter-se will be followed in order to determine the ranks of such candidates. The process of determining Inter-se merit is explained below:

In case of a tie, candidates with the least number of incorrect answers in the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics sections will be given a higher rank.
If the tie still remains, candidates having more aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics will be given preference.
If the tie still persists, candidates with more marks in the Mathematics section will be given preference.
If the tie remains unbroken, the elder candidate will be given over the other.

Technical Education Directorate, Maharashtra State (DTE MS) www.dte.org.in adopted the MHT-CET admission examination developed by the government.

The CBSE, New Delhi, administers the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell and JEE-Main.

Percentage of seats awarded to candidates based on the test taken Maharashtra State (MS) candidates received 65%, All India candidates received 15%, and Institute Level for all candidates received 20%.

MSRIT B Tech Selection Criteria

Admission to the Ramaiah College B Tech Courses is based on an entrance test. Candidates seeking admission must appear in the state-level entrance exam KCET. Non-Karnataka students can appear in the national level entrance exam COMEDK.
