Eligibility Criteria for the Btech at Atharva College of Engineering

The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech program at Atharva College of Engineering (ACE), Mumbai, are as follows:

1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination:

Applicants must have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination (Std. XII) or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

Along with Physics and Mathematics, they must have one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical, or Vocational subjects.

Applicants must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the aforementioned subjects (45% for candidates from Backward Classes).

2. Diploma in Engineering and Technology:

Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology from a recognized institution with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Backward Classes and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) are also eligible.

Important Notes

Candidates belonging to the B.Sc. category must clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year of the Engineering Program along with their second-year subjects.

All candidates must appear for either the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and secure a valid score for admission.

The final selection of candidates is based on the counseling conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.

Entrance Exams

For Maharashtra state candidates: MHT CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is mandatory. As of February 2024, the registration for MHT CET 2024 is ongoing, and the exam is scheduled from April 25 to April 30, 2024.
