D.Y. Patil College of Engineering (DYPCOE), was established in 1984 in Pimpri and later shifted to Akurdi complex in 2001. This Institute is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University.

DY Patil College of Engineering admission to BE and ME courses is done on the basis of a national/ state-level entrance exam. With the seat intake capacity of 840 students for BE and 130 students for the ME course, 20% of seats are reserved for college management
Eligibility
- Passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject along with one of the Chemistry / Biothechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject.
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved category ) in the above subjects taken together.
- At the undergraduate level, DY Patil College of Engineering provides Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) to the candidates who wish to pursue their career in the field of Engineering. The course is offered in seven different specialisations for duration of four years.
Admissions
- 20% of the total seats are assigned to the college management for admissions. Please contact the admission cell in-charge in the college premises for more details.
- The State CET Cell releases the Provisional Allotment Status of CAP Round(s) online at www.mahacet.org. The Centralized Admission Process (CAP) includes registration, document verification and application form confirmation at any selected Setu Suvidha Kendra. It is conducted for admission to First Year of Four Year duration Full Time Engineering and Technology program (B.E./ B. Tech).
- Candidates have to Register on the official website of State Cell of Maharashtra to participate in the counselling of MHT CET.
- Candidates have to fill Personal Details first and then Application ID and Password will be generated for further counselling Process.
- Candidates have to upload the Scanned Images of Photograph and Signature.
- Candidates have to send duly filled in and signed Application Form by speed post/courier/by hand delivery for verification & confirmation to Admission Centre designated by the Competent Authority for these admissions. The Competent Authority shall publish the provisional Merit List.
