The Sinhgad College of Engineering is an educational institution that has been serving the nation for nearly six decades now, and it has always been a pioneer in bringing new ideas to life with an aim to foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among its students. It is affiliated to Pune University and managed by the Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES). It has a total under-graduate and post graduate enrolment of 1200 and 338 students respectively. There are 126 students registered for Ph.D. with its research centre. The college is not only making quality engineers but also good human beings.
The institute has details on the availability of a postgraduate program that eventually leads to an MBA degree. It has a student body of over 1200, as well as 338 of which are enrolled at postgraduate level. There are 126 Ph.D. students registered with this research center. All the courses are approved by AICTE and associated with the University of Pune.

The campus is vast and houses as many as 50 colleges in it. The classrooms are clean and airy, the multistory library wing and labs are well-equipped. They even have Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the campus! The campus boasts of A Sports Center, Net-cafe, Auditoriums, Seminar Halls, Open Air Theatre and much more.
Hostel for Boys and Girls is available on campus. For every year students there are different hostel, so there is no change of ragging. The hostel rooms with individual toilet and bathroom. But sometime there is a problem of Wi-Fi and Hot water. First year hostel is above 800m long from the college. Students are pleased with the hostel infra; they’re decent enough to stay at for four years. The food in the mess is good as compare to other colleges in Maharashtra. There are so many other options on campus like Amul cafe, canteens of other colleges, etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Admissions
Technical Education Directorate, Maharashtra State (DTE MS) www.dte.org.in adopted the MHT-CET admission examination developed by the government.
The CBSE, New Delhi, administers the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell and JEE-Main.
Percentage of seats awarded to candidates based on the test taken Maharashtra State (MS) candidates received 65%, All India candidates received 15%, and Institute Level for all candidates received 20%.
Admission calendar for in-state students / open seats DTE MS notifies the timetable or Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
Admissions at the institute level/ empty seats are made following the CAP rounds.
Candidates should, however, contact the office as soon as the HSC, MHT-CET, and JEE-Main results are released.

Sinhgad College of Engineering Application Process
The first step is to fill online exam form by visiting the official website of particular exams like MHT CET, DTE, GATE, etc.
After successfully filling the form, candidates need to pay the application fee, which can be done in the online mode.
Once the examination is done, college will release admission notification to invite eligible candidates for registration.
