Selection Procedure:

65% of students are admitted on the basis of marks scored on the Maharashtra Engineering Entrance Test (CET) and 15% of the students from outside Maharashtra state are admitted through the All-India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE). The remaining 20% of students are admitted through management quota.

Students whose score is lesser than the Pune institute of computer technology MHT CET Cut-offor JEE Main can opt for management seats. PICT Management Quota fee is higher than the general fees.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Admissions

Technical Education Directorate, Maharashtra State (DTE MS) www.dte.org.in adopted the MHT-CET admission examination developed by the government.

The CBSE, New Delhi, administers the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell and JEE-Main.

Percentage of seats awarded to candidates based on the test taken Maharashtra State (MS) candidates received 65%, All India candidates received 15%, and Institute Level for all candidates received 20%.

Admission calendar for in-state students / open seats DTE MS notifies the timetable or Centralized Admission Process (CAP).

Admissions at the institute level/ empty seats are made following the CAP rounds.

Candidates should, however, contact the office as soon as the HSC, MHT-CET, and JEE-Main results are released.

Admissions

Three specializations are offered by the college in B.Tech program for four years. The students must have 10+2 or equivalent education in the Science stream with Physics & Mathematics subjects compulsorily with 50% marks from recognized board. The selection process for the B.Tech program is based on marks obtained in JEE main or MH CET exam, followed by counselling.

Admission in B.E programs is strictly through the merit and rank scored in MH CET and JEE Main. MH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) is a common entrance test organized to provide admission in Engineering & Technology and Pharmacy courses offered by various government and private colleges of Maharashtra state.
