PES University was established in 1972 as the PES Institute of Technology. Since its founding, the Peoples Education Society (PES) has worked tirelessly to provide high-quality science, medicine, engineering, and management education. The institute was granted “autonomous” status by the UGC in 2008, and PESIT turned into PES University in 2013 with the permission of the UGC.

Students can join PES University through PESSAT, Karnataka CET, JEE Mains exam score, or by Management Quota seats by paying a higher tuition fee compared to PESSAT and JEE mains quota applicable fees.
Candidate must have passed 10+2 and obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry.
Must appear in any of the entrance exams: JEE Mains, PESSAT, or Karnataka CET.
