PES University Admission
PES Institute Of Technology, Bangalore is a private institute established in 1972. The college is permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and has obtained Autonomous status in the year 2008-09 by the UGC. It is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college is functioning under the Grant-in-Aid code, Government of Karnataka and also beneficiary of TEQIP grants.PES ranked among the top 100 engineering colleges in India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework.

The 2nd campus is located on Hosur Road, near Electronics city, Bangalore, India.

Computer Science Branch
The CSE branch at PES University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in computer science, covering both theoretical foundations and practical applications.
Students learn programming languages like C, C++, Java, Python, and more. They gain knowledge and skills in software development, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
Students study the concepts, design principles, and functions of operating systems. They learn about process management, memory management, file systems, and concurrency control.
The course covers the principles and protocols of computer networks. Students learn about network architecture, routing, switching, TCP/IP protocols, network security, and emerging technologies like cloud computing and Internet of Things (IoT).
Eligibility
The basic eligibility for admission in any B.Tech course requires the student to have 50% aggregate marks in PCM in 10+2 from a recognized Indian board. This is backed by test scores in the PESSAT examination (national level) or KCET (state-level exam).

Outside Karnataka, students must apply for PESSAT or JEE Mains entrance exams for admission to PES University.

Through Management Quota:
For Management Seats it is not necessary to prepare for PESSAT entrance exams, just apply for exams and approach college management at the time of counselling for direct admission by paying higher college tuition fees.
Management quota seats are available for Indian students at PES University at higher tuition fees payable every year.
