About Cummins College of Engineering
Established in the year 1991 by Maharshi Karve, Cummins College of Engineering for Women was the first all-women Engineering college in India. Situated in Pune, Cummins College of Engineering for Women is an autonomous institute that comes under the umbrella of its parent institute Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha (MKSSS). The institute is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The institute is ranked 27 for Private Engineering and 56 for Engineering by The Week 2020. With more than 2500 registered faculty members and more than 120 students, the institute offers a total of nine courses across one stream at three levels, including BTech and MTech and PhD. Introduction of Achievements
We receive a competitive intake as per the rules and regulations given by AICTE. The diploma students who have secured first class can apply for direct second year admissions. We follow persistently monitored and assessed teaching learning processes and this has led us to consistently good results.
We have managed 100% result in all most all subjects in final year and the marks obtained by the students are continually improving. 70.58% of students received first class with distinction and first class. Laboratory Summary
The Department has 11 well equipped and well maintained laboratories which possess more than 402 high end PCS. Each lab has licensed software’s necessary to conduct corresponding courses in that laboratory. The laboratories are maintained by third party for hardware maintenance.
