BMSIT Bangalore Admission
In 2005 the college was privileged to be granted the status of a Research Institution by the Visvesvaraya Technological University. It has successfully completed these many years and has managed to secure its position among top colleges of Karnataka within a span of short period. It is an autonomous college affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University. Approved by AICTE, accredited by NAAC & NBA. The admission process for BMS College of Engineering begins in the month of January with the commencement of registrations for MBA and MCA courses. The application process for UG courses begins in the month of February. Eligibility Criteria
Here are some general eligibility guidelines for the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at BMS College of Engineering:
Undergraduate Programs (B.E. /B.Tech.):
Candidates must have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
They should have studied Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics as one of the optional subjects.
Minimum aggregate marks requirement may vary depending on the course and category (e.g., General, SC/ST, etc.).
Candidates need to qualify in the entrance examination accepted by the college, such as Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), COMEDK UGET, or any other accepted national-level entrance examination.
Admission Process
To apply for undergraduate program admission in BMS College of Engineering, the candidate needs to meet the eligibility criteria.
In the total seats, 45% of the seats are reserved for the government quota, 30% are reserved for the private quota and the remaining 25% of seats are filled under the management quota. For admission under government quota, he/she must have scored the eligible marks in KCET/COMEDK Exam.
