History
BMSCE was founded in 1946 by B. M. Sreenivasaiah with 3 undergraduate courses (Mechanical, Civil & Electrical), claiming to be “the first private sector initiative in engineering education in India”. Sreenivasaiah was followed by his son B. S. Narayan.
BMS College of Engineering Cut Offs
BMS College of Engineering COMEDK UGET cut off 2021 for the BE courses has been released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges in Karnataka (COMEDK) in three rounds— Round 1, Round 2 Phase 1 & 2 and Round 3. candidates who were selected as per COMEDK Round 3 cut off 2021 were required to confirm choices on the allotted seat and pay the fee online by December 26, while the last date for reporting to the allotted college was December 27.
BMS College Admission
BMS College of Engineering offers UG, PG and Doctoral level courses. The flagship programmes of BMSCE are BTech/ BE and MBA. There are 14 departments recognised as Research Centres offering PhD and MSc (Engineering by Research) degrees. Admission to all the courses offered at BMSCE is based upon different state-level and national-level entrance exams. These are PGCET, KMAT, MAT, GATE, etc. Some courses also have counseling rounds for seat allocation. To get admission in any course of the college, students need to register for the course in two stages, first at the official website of the concerned exam and second on the official website of BMSCE.
