MIT-World Peace University (MIT-WPU)

The branches of the MIT Group of Institute include Avantika University, MIT School of Distance Education, and MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul.

MIT Pune is converted into MIT-World Peace University (MIT-WPU) in 2017 under Government of Maharashtra Act No XXXV 2017 and recognized by UGC.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) is an autonomous engineering college in Pune, started in the year 1983.

VIT Pune is financed and run by Bansilal Ramanath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT), started on 16th June 1975 under Bombay Trust Act of 1950.

VIT Pune was the first private college in Maharashtra to attain academic autonomy, and is the only college in Pune to provide Honours and Minors courses in addition to normal undergraduate courses.

Symbiosis International University, officially Symbiosis International (Deemed University), established in 1971 as Symbiosis Society under the patronage of S. B. Mujumdar.

DY Patil College of Engineering (DYPCOE) was established in 1984 under Dr. D. Y. Patil Prathishthan in Pimpri.
